Water purification plants rely on many pumps, and transport fluid through long runs of piping. Flow-induced vibrations may limit the effciency and service life of components.

Spectrum-Tec applies a specialized tools in investigating these systems. Pressure pulsation levels in the piping may be determined through dynamic pressure transducers. By performing a complete spectral analysis, and relating the results to pump rotational speeds and system resonances, we may resolve vibration problems and optimize performance.
